About the position of Hotel & Reception Manager

The job requires you to have good interpersonal skills, leadership experience and a very strong organizational overview in order to handle the changeable everyday life that characterizes the position at HHE Express.

The position as Hotel & Reception Manager offers lots of challenges and opportunities, as you as day-to-day manager of the hotel’s 3 departments; CaféX, the reception and housekeeping will be responsible for maintaining and promoting the intimate guest experience that the hotel is known for.

As Hotel & Reception Manager at the city’s nicest hotel, your primary task as the leading face at reception is to ensure warm hospitality for your guests, quality assurance and operations, as well as the well-being and professional and personal development of your colleagues.

The position’s day-to-day work takes place primarily in the reception, where office work in one’s own office occurs to a limited extent.

The position includes staff housing for which rent etc. is paid. according to applicable regulations and air travel for newcomers.

The position is wanted to be filled as soon as possible

Duties as Hotel & Reception Manager

  • Support, train and motivate employees and students.
  • Ensure efficient and positive handling of guest inquiries
  • Planning and distribution of shifts
  • Securing and maintaining work procedures
  • Participate in the duty schedule at the reception
  • Ad-hoc office work

About you

You are an outgoing and smiling person who manages to empathize with the guests and your colleagues. You are result-oriented and good at juggling several balls in the air at a time, and also manage to catch them again.

For you, structured hosting is a virtue and you love being the person who can solve most tasks yourself, but are also used to collaborating and delegating. You have longer experience in the industry and may be sitting as a reception manager and considering the next challenge. Then this position is tailor-made for you.

Your qualifications

  • Speaks fluent Danish and English
  • Extensive experience in guest experience services
  • Super user in Spectra or similar booking system
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Result oriented
  • Detail oriented
  • High empathy.
